From the streets of Millington to the Naval Support Activity Mid-South Navy Base, the 2015 Holiday Season has seen several highlights. At the Annual Millington Christmas Parade on Dec. 5, Faithlyn Criswell was one of the feature riders in the event. She was featured on the Lighthouse Fellowship float as part of the Kings & Queens. And earlier in the month, Nearly 200 people gathered to watch the official lighting of the NSA Mid-South Christmas tree on Dec. 1. The attendees welcomed in the holiday season with complimentary cookies, donuts and hot chocolate and even free gifts.
“This is a great event for the base,” said Cmdr. Robert Bruce, executive officer of NSA Mid-South. “To have so many people out here mingling and getting excited for the holidays is what the season is all about.”
